the peacefulness of the lake. Boats, docks and lifts are almost all removed from our waters...there are a few that hang on to get the last of the fishing until they have to wait for the water to turn to ice. It's been a beautiful fall so far, warm temps, rainy days to help get our drought over turned, and lots of beautiful colors. Although with the wind and rain, comes the falling leaves, and lots of them. Wildlife is preparing for the next season. The summer was kind to everyone...except for the lack of rain and not having campfires because of the drought conditions. Certainly was great for being on the water or in it. As we say our farewells for another season of lake fun, we look to the season with a different type of lake fun. Happy Fall!
