We went from winter to summer....snow to drought. Wow! who would have thought we would be this dry after a record breaking winter snowfall. But, here we are....docks are pretty high out of the water already. Rain...we need rain! If you are on the lake boating, beware of the low water.....it's like the old saying "things come out at night" well, things pop out of the water when it becomes low. Be safe, know your surroundings. The buoys mark many locations of danger but not all. If you see a buoy that is not in it's correct location, please contact LWA via their email to report so it can be corrected. Sometimes wind, weather or just boat traffic can move them off their correct spot. Be safe and wear a life jacket. Safety begins with you! Enjoy your Summer on Lake Washburn!
