aka 4th of July weekend.... will be arriving soon. The rain showers have produced some very beautiful sunrises, sunsets and rainbows.
The temps certainly do not reflect the end of June but it does make for comfortable outdoor working conditions, snuggling around a warm campfire, and great sleeping! As we get closer to our "big weekend" of the year, lest us not forget to be respectful of others on the waters, clean, drain and dry our watercraft, keep a distance from our beautiful loons and chicks, and other wildlife around the lake.
Fireworks are fun, be safe and respect the fact that not everyone enjoys the sound of fireworks in the late hours of the evening or wee hours of the morning. The boat parade will be on July 1st at 1 p.m. Join in the fun by decorating your watercraft and become part of the parade. Or just watch it from your deck, beach, or watercraft.
