There have been many bear sitings around Lake Washburn. Some locations have been Lake Washburn Road (County Road 48), County 155, Plummer Point Road, Longwood Point Road, also around Andrus Lake off County 155.
These bears are not all the same. Large bear, cinnamon bear, cubs, and just bears. As some have reported, they are not afraid of humans, so if you feel they are too much of a nuisance, contact the DNR on how to handle them. Here is the link to Minnesota DNR
